Citi has hired Stuart Zanchi to its transition and pension services team.

Zanchi joins Citi as a vice president, and will be responsible for the management of multi-asset class portfolio transitions, derivative overlays, currency overlays, interim portfolios and other portfolio related services.
Zanchi comes to Citi with more than 15 years’ financial market experience, having worked most recently at NSW Treasury Corporation (TCW). He previously worked at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs Asset Management, with roles including senior transition manager, senior trader securities lending and senior risk analyst. Zanchi has a first class honours degree in mathematics.

When Zanchi joins the transition and pension services team in mid-May, the team will increase to five full-time staff including Michael Jackett-Simpson, managing director of transition and pension services team; Sandeep Gurkhi, Stephanie Ng, and Ash Patel.

“Given Stuart’s transition management credentials, fixed income experience and quantitative skills we believe that he will add further insight and experience, leading to better client outcomes,” Citi says in a statement.
