Unit Registry Operations – 6 month contract

Location: Sydney

Salary description: Up to $65k base

  • 1 to 3 years of experience

Our client is a leading global funds management business. They need extra support in their registry team initially for 6 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the unit-holder register including processing applications/redemptions/switches/transfers of units on a daily basis
  • Liaison with clients and trustees regarding holdings and unit pricing information
  • Production of various reports at regular intervals
  • Performing portfolio valuations reconciliations
  • Liaison with external service provider regarding valuations

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years experience with an investment manager or custodian in a registry administration role
  • Client liaison experience
  • Experience with a unit registry system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (not including macros)
  • Working knowledge of unit trust products
  • Knowledge of fund accounting
  • Exposure to Investment Management systems
  • Understanding of the distribution process
