Location: Sydney

Salary description: $80-100k + super + bonus

  • $50-100k AUD Equivalent
  • Permanent
  • 1 to 3 years of experience

Working with Asset Managers and Wealth Management clients in Australia and globally, the successful candidate will be responsible for Account Management for current clients as well as identifying up-selling or cross selling opportunities within the current client base.

The ideal applicant will have 2-4 years’ experience post university within the funds, or wealth management industry OR coming from another financial services technology vendor in an Account Management, Client Services or RM capacity.

The role will suit someone who has an interest in data but wants to be able to apply this knowledge across multiple business functions including sales, account management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Client Account Management and revenue retention.
  • Delivery of a strong end-to-end client service.
  • Maintaining current existing client relationships, ensuring that services levels remain relevant and align with clients’ future business requirements.
  • Opportunity generation within existing accounts, with a focus on solution migration and up-sell / cross selling opportunities.
  • Developing new relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Assisting internal stakeholders with client training and support, including acting as the client’s primary point of contact.
  • Working with the finance team on client contract and revenue management.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the services and propositions in order to build targeted sales plans and campaigns

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • 2-4 years’ account management / relationship management experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • Australian wealth management / fund management sector and financial data / large-scale solution sales experience will be highly regarded.
  • Impeccable relationship building and influencing skills across all levels, including key decision makers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexibly to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
  • Enthusiasm and drive to succeed.
