Location: Sydney

Salary description: market rate depending on experience (110k)

  • $100-150k AUD Equivalent
  • Permanent
  • 1 to 3 years of experience

The main tasks of this role are to ensure all loan transactions are processed in accordance with market practice, agreements, and internal requirements. This position also helps back up the processing of trade finance and guarantee transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing of all loan transactions in accordance with market practice, agreements, and internal requirements.
  • Processing of all transactions in the role of Agent bank in accordance with market practice, agreements, and internal requirements.
  • Communicate and manage staff to ensure all transactions are accurately completed within set requirements.
  • To provide training to team members for loan transactions when required
  • To initiate, develop, implement and evaluate strategies, processes, and practices that will support the growth of the business.
  • In conjunction with the Department Head, you will be a part of building the strategy for the operations team as a whole and in supporting the front and middle office of the bank in delivering their goals.

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary Qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Solid knowledge and skills in loan processing for corporate customers with at least 10 years of experience
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with customers, other participant banks, and Agent banks
  • Strong numerical reasoning and analytical skills
  • Proven track record in staff management
  • Computer literate in MS Office Suite, especially in MS Excel
  • Solid experience in payment systems, especially SWIFT
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
