


A global Asset Manager is seeking an experienced wholesale Funds BDM to build, foster and develop wholesale clients along the Eastern Seaboard of Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the strategic wholesale business plan for the Australia / New Zealand marketplace in order to raise and retain assets.
- Develop and maintain relationships as well as educate, train and motivate researcher, platform, dealer groups, broker dealers, IFAs and selected SMSFs, in Australia and New Zealand.
- Develop and represent a relevant range from a global suite of investment strategies to ensure retention and growth of assets under management in this region.
- Communicate with investment teams and Investment Specialists to ensure the proper articulation of the various investment strategies. Develop a broad understanding of both the research and portfolio management process.
- Develop and execute high activity plan. Leverage existing client relationships and pursue new prospects to meet and exceed targets for new business development in the region.
Ideal Experience:
- Experience in the investment management/financial services industry in wholesale sales and relationship management with an in-depth knowledge of a range of investment products.
- Good investment market reputation and a track record of execution, advice and relationship building.
- Proven experience with building networks in Australia/New Zealand, with both clients and researchers, having demonstrated strong consultative selling skills.
- The ideal applicant will have at least 2-3 years prior Asset Management Wholesale or Retail BDM experience from a leading Asset Manager.

The comp range for this position is based on the profile of the successful candidate, with a range of $140-165k + super + bonus a suitable guide.
