This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with prior financial services experience  – either from an assistant style role (EA/ TA or Desk assistant) or Marketing, Events, and Roadshow coordination experience to step up into a corporate access role.

Corporate Access is a function with the equities business which provides access to corporate and institutional clients via 1on1 & group meetings with both listed & unlisted companies and industry contacts, conference calls, corporate roadshows & investor trips. Corporate Access covers events firm wide, including investment banking (deals and marketing), wealth management, equity research and sales.

We are looking for a candidate with 2-5 years’ experience in:

  • Corporate Access, or
  • An events & marketing professional from within the financial industry, or
  • A desk assistant /PA / Team assistant / EA with 2+ years’ within the financial industry wishing to take the next step in their career

The role is based in Sydney on the trading floor, working with senior institutional equities, research, investment banking as well as being part of the global corporate access team

Key Accountabilities:

  • Organisation of global and domestic roadshows
  • Organisation of internal and client facing events, including results briefings, industry lunches, sales desk briefings, analyst events
  • Corporate roadshows; liaising with company management, working with offshore sales desk,  organisation of meeting schedule and associated logistics
  • Investor roadshows; liaising with wholesale institutional clients to arrange their domestic and offshore meeting schedule, coordinating with offshore corporate access teams, logistics
  • Conference organisation; coordinating between the internal teams, corporate speakers & institutional attendees, meeting schedule, all associated logistics (domestics and global events)
  • Event database management & maintenance, expense approvals for events, maintenance of event calendars

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience on client tracking and event databases a plus

Business Knowledge:

  • A solid understanding of global markets and working within a large financial company
  • Good understanding of the Australian corporate market and the investor relations function
