Due to the growth in our client’s portfolio of clients an exciting opportunity has come about for Corporate Loans Officer to join this leading global corporate bank in Sydney.

Purpose of the role:

To process all loan transactions and to provide back up and support in Guarantees and Trade Finance transactions.

Min. 1 year’s experience within corporate loans operations, guarantees or trade finance operations is required to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Processing of the loan transactions in accordance with market practice, agreements and internal requirements.
• Complete all assigned duties in an accurate and timely manner
• Co-ordinate with Operations, Front Office,  for related transactions and issues
• Identify any transaction discrepancies and resolve immediately and effectively
• Provide quality service to internal/external clients
• Undertake cross training to provide effective backup within other areas

Experience

• A minimum of twelve months’ banking experience in a similar role – corporate loans, guarantees, and trade finance
• Tertiary qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Payment systems knowledge and experience e.g. SWIFT
• Computer literacy/PC skills e.g. MS Office applications
• Well organised with high accuracy levels, attention to detail
• Proactive and able to identify and resolve errors and discrepancies
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
• General administrative skills
