Our client is a prominent, global investment banking firm and this is a 6-month fixed term contract position available in their Institutional Corporate Loans business based in their Sydney CBD office. The ideal applicant will have direct Insto Corporate Loans operations experience, with corporate loan processing experience in an agency capacity.

Position Purpose:

To ensure all loan transactions are processed in accordance with market practice, agreements and internal requirements. To also back-up for the processing of trade finance and guarantee transactions

Key Challenges:

  • Processing of all loan transactions in accordance with market practice, agreements, and internal requirements
  • Processing of all transactions in the role as Agent bank in accordance with market practice, agreements, and internal requirements
  • Communicate and manage staff to ensure all transactions are accurately completed within set requirements
  • To provide training to team members for loan transactions when required
  • To initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate strategies, processes and practices that will support the growth of the business

Competencies/ Skills & Experience:

  • Solid knowledge and skills in loan processing for corporate customers with at least 10 years’ experience
  • Advanced skills in agency role
  • Proven ability to manage relationship with customers, other participant banks and Agent banks
  • Strong numerical reasoning and analytical skills

This salary range is $100-130k salary, depending on experience, paid directly by our client on a Fixed Term Contract [FTC] basis, so you can also access leave as part of this FTC. The position is available initially on a 6-month duration, although the position may get extended or go perm depending on movement in the team later in the year.
