Contract or TemporaryOur client is seeking an experienced fund accountant to assist with their upcoming busy financial reporting period .
Our client will hold a preference for applicants with citizenship or residency, although would still be keen to see applicants who hold a Working Holiday Visa and have appropriate fund accounting experience.
Contract rate will be variable depending on experience, but likely around $300-350 per day.
Fund Accountants may have direct client contact as they are responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of Client reports in accordance with SLA’s. This can include unit pricing, month end report packs, distribution calculations, taxable income calculation and BAS/ GST once reports have been verified as correct.
Experience within the below required:
· Regulatory reporting
· Statutory reporting
· Unit pricing reports
· Accounting reports
· Tax reports; and
· Resolution of client and or interdepartmental issues and ad hoc queries
The successful candidate will have:
· 2-4 years’ experience with a proven track record within Fund Accounting / Unit Pricing
· CA/CPA qualifications are highly regarded
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Experience with HiPort
· Strong eye for detail
