Our client is a global financial services institution looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst to join their business in Sydney.
The successful candidate will join the business on an initial 9-month contract with the possibility to convert to permanent.
Key Areas of Responsibility and IT Support:
- Provide business as usual (BAU) IT support
- IT Service Management for Partners (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
- Leverage Global Support Model in providing IT support for Incidents and Service Requests
- Analyze impact, risks and effort needed to implement a change request.
- Help carry out approved changes to the system.
- Coordinate with Global Support Teams for changes and support required by business partners.
Key skills for this position:
- Knowledge of networks, database or operating systems, PC/LAN/WAN, Citrix/VDI, telecommunications technologies, and information security technology.
- Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Good Project Management skills
- Good working knowledge of and troubleshooting experience in Office 365 (on prem and cloud), Outlook, Lotus Notes and SharePoint
Technical Experience + Qualifications required:
- A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent: ideally in IT or computer science or similar
- Several years of technical experience in operating systems, database, telecommunications, PC, LAN, WAN, and data security technologies.
- Should have good an understanding of ITIL, Citrix, VDI/VM, Windows servers, MS O365
- ITIL, MCSE, MCSA and CCNA certification a plus
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow a plus
This role will look to pay a competitive hourly rate for a candidate with the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience.
The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in Networking, Server, Telephony, End-User computing or AV experience, ideally with a financial services company.
This position will be paid on an hourly basis, via Anton Murray Consulting, working on-site with our client, for an initial duration of 9m. Based on good performance, it is likely your contract will be extended or you may be offered a full perm position in the team.
