Junior Associate – Money Market Client Services/ Junior Dealer

Our client is a leading debt markets trading intermediary focused on Fixed Income and Money Market dealing for Institutional and Semi-Government clients. They are seeking an additional headcount to help manage their clients investing in the money markets.
The candidate can either be a proactive, ambitious recent graduate or someone who has some experience gained in financial services (up to around 3 years’ experience) seeking a new role and career in a leading firm with the career opportunity to become a Money Market Dealer.
The ideal applicants will have between 6 months to 3 years’ prior experience in client services, client account management, or operations ideally with some understanding or experience in Debt markets (Fixed Income, Money Market, Term Deposits).
Responsibilities:
- Client Services: providing specialised client support and guidance, with regards to queries relating to their investments.
- Client Onboarding/AML: Onboarding of new clients, and maintenance of existing clients’ records in accordance with the relevant regulatory guidelines and internal policies and procedures
- Performing any day-to-day functions including the monitoring of any client requests via email/phone and resolution of queries within SLA’s.
- Compliance – operating the business in compliance with regulations, policies, and service agreements.
- Participation in any internal business projects and initiatives as both a subject matter expert and contributor to ideas and change processes
Requirements:
- The ideal applicants will have between 6 months’ and 3 years’ prior experience in client services, client account management, and ideally some understanding or experience in Debt markets
- Degree in Economics, Commerce, Business, etc
- Ability to work under pressure and manage several initiatives simultaneously
- Industry knowledge on Regulatory requirements and standards
- Professional communication, strong written and verbal communication with a high level of attention to detail.
- Intermediate to Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and CRM solutions desirable.
