Salary description: Competitive

Our client is a rapidly growing high-frequency trading firm seeking multiple experienced traders to join their business across Index Options, Single Stock Options.

The position will entail options market making in Asian market indices and stocks implementing both HFT and arbitrage strategies.

Their high-frequency trading team engages in systematic automated trading across a range of products.

The ideal candidates will have over 3 years’ experience in a similar high frequency trading position and who has traded/seen various trading strategies and also has a knowledge of various programming and back-testing skills such as C#, Python and R.

  • Day-to-day responsibility of trading the relevant book
  • Rigorous risk management and perfect compliance with regulatory rules
  • Improving strategies through analysis, prototyping and collaboration with developers
  • Designing and implementing new trading strategies
  • Openness to trading new products and willingness to set them up

Key specifications:

  • Prior options market making experience
  • Successful track record of proven P&L and market share
  • Good understanding of trading systems
  • Outstanding numerical and analytical skills
  • Proactive interest in improving existing trading strategies and identifying new opportunities

The ideal candidate will have prior options market making experience with a successful track record of proven P&L and market share. This position will be paid on a competitive salary and will be based in Sydney.
