A leading global firm is seeking an experienced OTC Derivatives regulatory reporting contractor to lead the OTC Regulatory Reporting service, risk and controls, project implementation, issue management and strategic direction of the service provided to clients
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in OTC Regulatory Reporting with the ASIC regulations
- General OTC instrument knowledge
- Worked in change / projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide OTC Regulatory Reporting expertise and leadership for the Australian Middle Office team.
- Responsible for the delivery of the OTC Regulatory Reporting services to our clients, ensuring the following key processes meet SLA deliverables.
- Oversight of the OTC Regulatory Reporting functions offshore servicing Australia and be the local based process SME throughout the ongoing remediation program
- Maintain and tightly monitor the risk and control framework for OTC Regulatory Reporting, including controls review and testing, operating procedures are of a high quality, incident management, audits and management of the escalation of issues with clients and internal stakeholders.
Competencies:
- Technical knowledge of OTC Derivatives, in particular OTC Regulatory Reporting, ability to be hands on with functions in resolving issues, problems and capitalising on opportunities.
- Proven change management experience, preferable in OTC Regulatory Reporting
- Develop and execute strategies to strength operational processes
- Drive a focus on the customer, quality and technical expertise in OTC Derivatives
- Effective communicator across all levels of the organisation and with clients
- Ability oversight and manage offshore relationships
Seeking:
- 5+ years’ experience with OTC Derivatives, spanning across the end to end service model of confirmation, booking, valuation and regulatory reporting.
- Experience working in OTC Regulatory Reporting with the ASIC regulation
- General OTC instrument knowledge
- Worked in change / projects
