Our client, a leading organisation within the financial services sector, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Singapore on an initial 12-month contract.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, large-scale projects, where you will be responsible for managing resources, budgets, project plans, and key milestones to ensure successful delivery.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive project outcomes, optimize processes, and navigate complex challenges. As a key coordinator, you will ensure alignment and execution across various business functions to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale projects, smaller initiatives, or workstreams, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, maintaining effective communication and alignment throughout.
  • Provide strategic input to the business by conducting analysis and making recommendations for improving project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for committees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage complex initiatives that involve multiple disciplines, aligning operational execution with the business strategy.
  • Take ownership of risk and compliance activities within projects, overseeing obligations and reporting.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex ideas.
  • In-depth understanding of functional and industry practices, particularly in financial services.
  • Proven experience managing large, cross-functional, and technically challenging projects.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with experience in resource management and team development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Industry-relevant certifications and qualifications are preferred
  • At least 8+ years’ relevant project management experience
