Asset Management 
Permanent Our client is a leading asset owner with a sizeable team in Melbourne. They are seeking anadditional staff member in their investment data team. This role is aimed at supporting the investment team, for whom you will manage upstream investment data management activities.
Your in-depth understanding of data analysis, management, tools, models, and the data lifecycle, coupled with your expertise in derivative products (including their valuation and trade life cycles) along with proficiency with the Aladdin platform, will be invaluable in managing investment data for this specialised domain.
The primary focus will be on daily delivery of data into the Aladdin OMS and ensuring that trading data is both timely and accurate for one of their investment teams.

Responsibilites:
• Investigate and resolve technical issues and discrepancies related to
individual deals / breaks.
• Responsible for continually monitoring the front office tool dashboards for
un-reviewed securities that have been traded.
• Set up new securities via multiple methods (one off, shortcuts and
templates) when required.
• Serve as the technical product (back end) product expert on Aladdin
derivatives trades, providing technical support and guidance on functionality
to agency teams as required.
• Collaborate with investment operations teams to ensure accurate processing
of derivatives trades, settlements, and post-trade activities.
• Identify and implement enhancements in the Aladdin platform to optimise
processes in conjunction with technology teams.
• Analyse and modify unreviewed security master records to support the trade
workflow as required.
• Manage the End-of-Day Data ingestion checks as required.
• Ensure that Outsourced partners provide a high-quality level of service to
agency downstream consumers.
• Actively manage outsourced providers as required to drive efficiencies.
• Provide market data and technical advisory support to the Agency for Aladdin
related data queries – this may include consulting with technology pillars,
developers or testers as required.
• Daily monitoring & performance of data delivery, data certification and
exception management activities for data queries.
• Facilitate and implement new market data requirements
• Support the oversight of partner delivery of new change as needed by
downstream services.
• Support the IDM Relationship Manager to monitor partner services and
products to ensure that they are delivered in line with the IDM solutioning
parameters.
Experience
• Strong technical knowledge of Blackrock Aladdin system is a must-have for
success in this role.
• A strong understanding of derivative securities, trade lifecycles and market
conventions is a must-have for success in this role.
• In-depth understanding of the public and private markets domain, including
associated asset types is preferred.
• Excellent statistical (quantitative analysis) and technical (problem-solving)
skills to develop data-driven solutions and insights.
• Customer focused approach with exceptional communication and
engagement skills.
