Salary description: Competitive based on previous experience

  • $150-200k AUD Equivalent
  • Permanent
  • 7 to 10 years of experience

Our client is one of Australia’s leading electronic trading solution providers seeking a Senior BDM to join their Sydney team.

The role is working to increase our client’s business opportunities and maximise revenue, with a specific focus on the interdealer AUD & NZD swap market. You will also be required to provide swaps dealing and product expertise to support more efficient platform build and contribute to overall swap market strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for client and business plans and strategy
  • Engaged and responsible for ongoing and regular client meetings; deliver effect client requirements
  • Build and develop an ongoing understanding of our clients competitors and clients market share
  • Ownership and accountability for designated projects and drive positive outcomes
  • Build and maintain relationships with all relevant trading at client firms
  • Strong adherence to building and maintaining key relationships internally – within BD, Dev, Project Management, Operations and Legal

Qualifications and experience required:

  • In depth knowledge of swaps dealing and product expertise – 7+ years
  • Prior experience in a similar senior sales role
  • Preference for strong existing relationships within AUD/ NZD swap markets which can be leveraged inStrong understanding of order work flows, trade processes and workflows employed by market participants
  • Possess a proven track record in growing a successful business

The ideal candidate for this role will have several years of experience directly involved in swaps trading/ dealing/ Institutional sales role within the AUD/ NZD market ideally with strong work networks.
