


The Senior Client Associate is responsible for providing support to the Client Management team and delivering superior client service, ensuring all trustee obligations/operational activities are met in a timely manner. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years’ experience in a unit trust, managed funds, registry, or client services role from either a fund manager, custodian, or fund services firm.
2 x roles available : 1 x 3-4 months & 1 x 9 months – both open to extensions for strong performers.
Key tasks and outputs
- Assist the Senior Manager and the Senior Client Service Managers in servicing the book of wholesale trustee clients
- Undertake assigned activities to ensure full compliance with trust obligations
- Administer trustee activities in accordance with policies and procedures
- Develop a sound understanding of the legal, regulatory, and operational frameworks in place that govern funds.
- Monitor and complete all compliance requirements for allocated clients/funds
- Manage payments with internal and external custodians
- Build & maintain operational relationships with allocated clients
- Ensure working knowledge of all clients “owned” by the team to provide backup and operational flexibility
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required
- Manage and complete all allocated trustee obligations in the compliance management system in a timely manner
- Assist with the maintenance of data in the compliance management system
- Assist in managing finance matters; including debtors, expenses, and billing across the client management team including the collection and collation of data required
- Assist in the preparation of board reporting packs/memos
- Maintain key scheme document records in accordance with Policy requirements, including maintaining a central unit registry for wholesale trusts.
Education requirements
- Law / Business / Accounting / Economics degree required
Experience requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Financial Services or related experience
- Excellent client management skills and experience
- Reasonable knowledge of fund structures
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail
