Strong growth means our client have a need for a Middle Office Senior Associate to join their international Operations team. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with industry leading Fund Managers and experts, gain exposure to the global alternative asset markets and experience working in a dynamic, high-performing team
Key Responsibilities:
The role will include the following operational roles and responsibilities:
- Assist in administering all aspects of the platform via online administration tools.
- Ensuring all Capital Markets and Funds Management transactions are processed accurately
- Understand and document the entire lifecycle of each deal from execution stage to repayment/rollover.
- Monitor and review SLA’s to ensure all key deliverables are met
- Ensure that all deal calculations and diarised deal events (eg. Capital calls, distributions, maturity dates) are work-flowed from execution date of each deal
- Perform regular payments, calculations and checks on incoming and outgoing cashflows
- After each deal settlement, verify the accuracy and completeness of each deal set-up including key investor details such as bank details, residency status and TFN/ABN if applicable
- Be across all operational aspects of the business and ensure the business meets all operational requirements.
- Help reconcile bank accounts, prepare regulatory filings and help prepare trust accounts as required.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and streamlining of processes especially with regards to salesforce and platforms functionality
- Assist clients with any operational queries they may have.
- Monitor capital raiser reports for timing and outcomes.
- Elevate to Capital Markets team where reports are unsatisfactory;
- Liaise with Capital Markets to monitor returns of capital by the capital raisers and execute payments Operations Team for principal disbursement.
- Manage new deal settlements
- Help manage any refinancing roll transactions
- Proactively manage the settlement of all deals when due, including liaising with investors and ensuring these are accurately reflected on the platform
Desired Qualifications and Attributes
- This role would suit a financially qualified candidate 3 to 5 years of experience in an operations / middle office environment.
- Candidates with a passion for tech solutions and entrepreneurship will be highly favoured.
- Be tech savvy and comfortable with online business tools.
- Their platform is custom developed, so you will need to learn from scratch;
- Support team members to deliver and meet SLA’s, volume levels, and client expectations.

The role will pay between $90-110k base + super and bonus dependent on relevant experience.
