As a Team Assistant within the Private Wealth team, you’ll play a critical support role. Your contribution will be instrumental in delivering a high level of client service, assisting with financial advice preparation, and ensuring compliance and administrative efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and implementing financial advice and investment proposals
- Support maintenance of client relationships and ongoing servicing
- Deliver high-level client service and manage day-to-day client communications
- Ensure compliance with current legislation and industry standards
- Identify and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Oversee stock settlements, fund transfers, and related client communications
- Manage administrative tasks including documentation, correspondence, filing, and expense reconciliation
- Facilitate onboarding of new clients and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide leave coverage for other assistants
- Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as required
Experience, and Qualifications:
- University Degree in Business / Economics / other finance related discipline is highly regarded
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a support capacity
- Experience in stock broking assistant roles would be highly desirable
- Proficiency in relevant IT software, including: IRESS, Agility, MS Word & MS Excel, X- Plan
- RG146 compliance is advantageous
