As a Team Assistant within the Private Wealth team, you’ll play a critical support role. Your contribution will be instrumental in delivering a high level of client service, assisting with financial advice preparation, and ensuring compliance and administrative efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing and implementing financial advice and investment proposals
  • Support maintenance of client relationships and ongoing servicing
  • Deliver high-level client service and manage day-to-day client communications
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation and industry standards
  • Identify and contribute to continuous process improvements
  • Oversee stock settlements, fund transfers, and related client communications
  • Manage administrative tasks including documentation, correspondence, filing, and expense reconciliation
  • Facilitate onboarding of new clients and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide leave coverage for other assistants
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Experience, and Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Business / Economics / other finance related discipline is highly regarded
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a support capacity
  • Experience in stock broking assistant roles would be highly desirable
  • Proficiency in relevant IT software, including: IRESS, Agility, MS Word & MS Excel, X- Plan
  • RG146 compliance is advantageous
