Our client is a leading global wealth management firm seeking a Trust Account & Bank Reconciliations Analyst on a 12-month contract role within the Risk and Control team.
The Risk and Control team are primarily responsible for reconciliation of trust and bank accounts as well as fee billing processing on client accounts. The purpose of this role is to ensure a strong Risk and Control framework is managed within the Australian Domestic Operations team and provide coverage to the monthly fee billing task.
The ideal candidate will have around 2-4 years relevant financial experience, and understanding of regulatory rules and how they apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation tasks, including Trust and bank account reconciliations; margin lending reconciliation, etc.
- Ensure exceptions are resolved within agreed SLA by staff accountable for relevant breaks
- Process fee billing tasks e.g. new fee set up, fee amendment, account closure fee stopping, monthly fee billing exception handling
- Perform UAT/QA testing on system changes impacting reconciliation process
- Appropriate escalation of exceptions / aged items to Controls and Operations Manager
Experience / Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and 2-4 years of prior work experience in a relevant finance position.
- Reconciliation or fee exp is a bonus
- Preferred experience with trust account reconciliation
- Understanding of regulatory rules and how they apply to the business.
