Major moves in the M&A arena

A number of significant mergers and acquisitions have taken place during the past year, while others have fallen flat or are still pending. From the emergency takeover of Credit Suisse by UBS to the completion of Perpetual’s acquisition of Pendal, 2023 was another year of significant mergers and acquisitions. But while some deals have been successfully completed this year, others have faltered or failed completely. Here’s a look back at some major moves in the M&A space in 2023:
