This position is a good quality, client facing role that will be liaising closely with external asset management clients of the business. Client Services Managers are part of the distribution function of the business, and as such the team has overall responsibility for the development and ownership for all key client relationships, client to business interaction and client communication.

The Client Services Management team has the mission to implement a global service model and to ensure a consistent top-quality client experience worldwide.

The Client Services team is responsible for service delivery oversight, client satisfaction, client communication, as well as managing relationships with the third party asset managers serving the business’ asset owner clients

Position purpose:

  • The Client Service Manager is responsible for ensuring overall satisfaction of their assigned client(s) across the full scope of services delivered locally or globally.
  • The Client Service Manager pilots the client experience to achieve a desired level of service across the entire organisation. By understanding the client business and service expectations, the Client Service Manager translates this into service delivery requirements for each team responsible for the service delivery.
  • The Client Service Manager also leads service reviews with the client.
  • The aim is for the Client Service Manager to assess the on-going satisfaction of the client with the service delivered, to identify and to oversee actions to ensure continuous improvement of the client satisfaction.


  • Must have strong custody operations, fund accounting and client facing experience.

Funds Management – Client Services/ Middle Office

A new role of Client Account Manager has become available with our client.  This team supports Asset Managers and is a very high volume, client query and report enhancing focused role.

Candidates will be coming from a strong global markets settlements, corporate actions and client services focused background ideally coming from an Asset Manager or custodian. Ideally they will have custody product knowledge and experience in managing investment manager clients

The Account Management team is responsible for all aspects of service delivery and relationship building with Investment Managers. This broadly covers all portfolio cash and securities reporting, reporting of failed and settled transactions, overseeing all cash and securities related transaction processing and the key point of contact for enquires.

The role has full accountability the following:

  • Day to day management of investment manager relationships ensuring that the highest levels of satisfaction possible are achieved
  • Receiving queries and issues from Investment Managers and working through to a resolution of each in an effective and timely manner
  • Implementation and active management to resolution of an issues and service matrix for each relationship
  • Act as global custody reporting agent for the Investment Manager
  • Act as relationship manager for the third party asset managers leading  meetings with opposite number at the asset manager and developing a relationship which “opens doors” for both references to be obtained and business development opportunities
  • Maintain a consistent approach – ensure that manager expectations are managed and delivered in line with requirements and timescales.
  • Working with internal teams to ensure the Investment Managers requirements are effectively represented
  • Oversight of custody reconciliation breaks
  • Resolution of internal queries and issues, including non-receipt of funds, Auto-FX and unadvised credits.

Skills Required:

  • 4+ years commercial experience in operations ( cross product settlements, and experience using a range of global settlements systems) who demonstrates effective client service skills
  • Has the ability to work cohesively and positively with colleagues and peers at all levels within the organisation.  Communicates freely and openly both upwardly managing expectations and reporting on service delivery – and in assisting other Operations teams to deliver against their goals, where you can contribute.

Trust Manager -Securitisation / Corporate Trust

Our client is an independent corporate trustee seeking a Senior Trust Analyst / Trust Manager to join their Sydney team.

This role would suit someone with 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services with a desire to become a skilled specialist at the management of complex financial structures. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for managing as assigned portfolio of trusts
  • Manage trust funding draw down processes
  • Manage trust month end processes
  • Run cash flow distribution waterfall calculations
  • Financial model maintenance and development

Skills and Experience required:

Fixed Income & Equity Settlements Associate

Our client is a leading global bank who are seeking an experienced settlements candidate to join their team.

Prior equity and/or Fixed Income settlements experience required using CHESS and or Exigo systems.

Working in a highly skilled, professional environment you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Coordinate and execute processing, confirmation and settlement of all corporate Fixed Interest & Equities
  • Liaise with the dealers, external and internal customers
  • Completing reconciliations and investigations
  • Completing of daily reporting and filing

In order to be successful in applying for this role you will have: 

  • At least 3 years of experience in Fixed Interest and/or  Equity Settlement Experience
  • CHESS and /or Austraclear / Exigo experience essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team

Fund Investment Operations – contract (view to perm)

This position will be hired initially on an interim 2 month contract duration, to cover a departing team member in late Jan 2021.

Notably, the team will also start the recruiting process for this position on a perm basis in late Jan, so there is a direct possibility to be hired perm if you do a great job on the initial contract.

The primary function of the Investment Operations Analyst is to:

  • Work with and assist the Investment Operations Manager to manage the assets of the Fund, focusing on the implementation and administration of the investment strategy, in accordance with the Board’s investment philosophies and principles.
  • Make a contribution to operational and middle office functions associated with the Fund’s investment program
  • Day to day management of the relationship with the custodian

Investment Operations Responsibilities:

  • Unit Pricing. Contribute to the unit pricing process, including assisting with verification, adjustments and the maintenance and operation of the Fund’s unit pricing function.
  • Data Management. Assist with the collation of a range of investment data including fulfillment of the Fund’s regulatory requirements (reporting to APRA and ASIC).
  • Performance Reporting. Assist with the checking, reconciliation and distribution of performance reports.
  • Taxation and Accounting. Contribute to the administration of accounting and taxation aspects of the investment program under the direction of the Investment Operations Manager.
  • Fees and Investment Costs. Assist with investment fee calculations and associated disclosure requirements including investment cost analysis, modelling, reconciliations and the calculation of cost ratios as required.
  • Implementation. Contribute to the implementation of investment decisions including preparation of instructions to the Fund’s custodian.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of investment operations experience in a middle office,  fund operations,  fund administration investment related operational function.

Corporate/ Institutional Banking – KYC / Due Diligence – 12 month contract

Our client is seeking an experienced KYC / Due Diligence analyst – coming from institutional / corporate banking KYC background (Not retail client or customer focused.)

The Due Diligence Officer is responsible for Institutional client KYC/ on-boarding and Due diligence for the Corporate Banking clients.

KYC Client on-boarding

  • Check if clients’ documents  are in place and correctly filed
  • KYC Checking: verification KYC forms completed and verification supporting documents against the checklist
  • Input data in  KYC Form and control data quality
  • Check and upload clients’ documents
  • Handle the workflow with stakeholders (Compliance, B/L) until final sign-off
  •  Instruct Client Referential team to open client accounts in accounting and Back Office systems

KYC re-certification (periodical task depending on customer sensitivity):

  • Check the KYC master list and select the client group needs to be reviewed
  • KYC Checking: verification KYC forms completed and verification supporting documents against the checklist
  • Input data and control data quality
  • Check and upload clients’ documents
  • Handle workflow w/ stakeholders (Compliance, B/L) to final sign-off
  • KYC freeze process and monitoring
  • Verify the correctness of the amendment instruction (e.g. company search and signature verification), list of authorized signatures or SSI.
  • Data update and legal document upload  (e.g. new registered address, new business address, new legal name)
  • Handle the workflow (to be signed-off by SBO


  • Minimum 2-5 years Due Diligence / KYC experience required from Corporate / Institutional Banking 
  • Knowledge of Corporate Banking products
  •  Tertiary studies in the Banking / Finance Industry·
  • Sound experience in a customer service environment
