Our client provides an end-to-end solution for trading existing shares, raising new capital and full transaction management, including seamless execution from trading through to registry.

Working closely with the CEO, the role includes sourcing new sales opportunities and executing capital transactions which include dealing with buy and sell-side sophisticated investors.

They’re seeking to employ a professional from the industry to lead their growth plans.

Requirements:

  • Over 3+ years’ financial markets / corporate finance experience and a sales background. May come from a stockbroking, capital markets, corporate advisory, funds management or investment banking background
  • Undertake sales role in sourcing new capital raising and trading opportunities
  • Experience in facilitating new issuance of securities and secondary share trading as well as general equity capital transaction management and execution
  • Able to represent the Company in order to build ongoing relationships
  • Ability to execute transactions inclusive of onboarding clients and investors and undertaking client due diligence and financial modelling
  • Understanding of Australian financial services industry with knowledge of relevant ASIC, AFSL regulation and regulatory bodies
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with people at all levels – teamwork is paramount
  • Well-honed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to foster close and respectful stakeholder relationships
  • A self-starter, rational and logical even under pressure

Key elements of the role involve

  • Full-time employment based in CBD Sydney
  • Sales related experience with financial markets
  • Ability to travel domestically (if required)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business/finance or related industry discipline
  • Developing strong relationships with all key stakeholders

A boutique financial services firm, based at Circular Quay, is seeking a full time office manager, and EA to their MD.  You will ensure that the office and business operates smoothly and efficiently on a day-to-day basis.

With an office of 28 staff in Sydney, you’ll be responsible for providing high level executive and administrative support to the MD as well as office management duties.

  • EA duties such as dairy management, travel coordination

Corporate Loan Operations – 6-month contract

Our client is a prominent, global investment banking firm and this is a 6-month fixed term contract position available in their Institutional Corporate Loans business based in their Sydney CBD office. The ideal applicant will have direct Insto Corporate Loans operations experience, with corporate loan processing experience in an agency capacity.

Position Purpose:

To ensure all loan transactions are processed in accordance with market practice, agreements and internal requirements. To also back-up for the processing of trade finance and guarantee transactions

Key Challenges:

  • Processing of all loan transactions in accordance with market practice, agreements, and internal requirements
  • Processing of all transactions in the role as Agent bank in accordance with market practice, agreements, and internal requirements
  • Communicate and manage staff to ensure all transactions are accurately completed within set requirements
  • To provide training to team members for loan transactions when required
  • To initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate strategies, processes and practices that will support the growth of the business

Competencies/ Skills & Experience:

  • Solid knowledge and skills in loan processing for corporate customers with at least 10 years’ experience

Our client is a leading institutional equities broking and advisory firm seeking an experienced ECM / Corporate Finance Associate reporting into the Head of Corporate.

Ideal backgrounds will be candidates with 3-7 years’ relevant experience post-university in Corporate Advisory, ECM, IBD, M&A.

  • You will be responsible for all equity transactions within a small team of four
  • Working on range of transactions including IPOs, rights issues, capital raisings and private and public placements.This will include drafting and negotiating key transactions documents and managing external client relationships
  • Working closely with other teams across the firm to deliver an integrated service to our clients
  • Managing and building external client relationships, including assisting with business development activities for key existing clients and new clients

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced Senior Analyst or Associate (3-7 years’ experience)  coming from a similar corporate advisory, ECM, M&A, IBD background
  • 3+ years’ demonstrable experience in equity capital markets: rights issues, IPOs, capital raisings, placements preferably in the Australian market
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with a high degree of commitment and practical mindset
