Client Service Associate – Employee Share Plans / Registry

The Client Service Associate plays a key role in the successful administration of our client’s equity compensation plans, client projects and corporate actions.

The successful candidate will be one of the key contacts liaising with HR professionals, senior financial staff and payroll/benefits contacts linked to white label enterprise accounts.

This position requires excellent customer service, communication, and project planning skills as well as a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide excellent customer support to ensure maximum satisfaction and a positive experience for our clients
  • Support and maintain stock option, restricted stock and employee share purchase plan data on proprietary and white label platforms
  • Project manage and process assigned transactions and events related to employee equity compensation plans, such as Dividends, Purchases, Releases, Vesting’s etc.
  • Production of financial and administration reports
  • Manage client expectations to ensure maximum satisfaction with products and services
  • Resolve client queries and escalate appropriately if needed
  • Track open issues and investigate problem situations, escalating as appropriate
  • Resolution of errors reported by system monitoring tools, implementing tactical and strategical controls to reduce business risk

Seeking:

  • 1+ years experience in equity markets client services role.
  • Share plan / share registry experience held highly
  • Interest in and/or experience with equity compensation and share plans
  • Fluency in oral and written English is required along with well-developed interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and solutions orientation
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities
  • Demonstrated competency with common office technology and intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel

Program Manager – Wealth Management / Digital Advice – large scale integration

Our client is a leading global wealth management firm with a sizable presence in Sydney and Melbourne.

This program of work will focus on establishing a formal program and supporting BAU teams with required analysis and requirements definition with resources reporting directly into the business team.

The program will be large and complex and involve integrating two businesses, systems/ technology as well as adding  third party Digital Wealth / Advice and Robo Advice providers to their systems and platform.  The project will be supported by internal SME’s, including legal and compliance for regulatory and licensing.

The subject matter that both roles will deal in is: digital, systems integration, operating model transformation, client-facing products and services, regulatory analysis.

The Program Manager will oversee 2 local Business Analysts in this program of work.

For experience/background, we want a seasoned Program Manager  or Senior Project Manager capable of running run complex programs. Ideally from a Wealth or banking industry, proven experience working on large scale integration, and digital implementation projects.

Program management office – deliverables

  • Program charter construction
  • Program architecture
    • Stakeholder identification and alignment
    • Define workstreams and owners
    • Document workstream scope
    • Establish working group and status meeting cadence
  • Program plan construction, facilitating:
    • Workstream scope definition
    • Requirements development, stakeholder reviews, approval
    • Execution sizing
    • Milestone and timeline definition
  • Working group and executive presentation/discussion support

The role will be an initial 6 month contract to extend out to max 18 months. Day rate of offer will be flexible pending prior experience

Senior Compliance Consultant – Asset Management

Leading global asset manager seeking a highly experienced senior compliance consultant to join them on a long-dated compliance project basis.

The temporary role is for a Senior Compliance Consultant, based in Melbourne. The individual will work within a regional Asset Management Compliance team operating in a successful international Asset Management business, reporting to Head of Asset Management Compliance APAC.

The position will support the development of compliance framework, programme and activities for the newly established Asset management legal entity in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and consultation to support compliance program development
  • Draft key policy documentation and related procedures
  • Assist in mapping of ASIC regulatory rules applicable to the new asset management entity
  • Assist in assessment of regulatory obligations and development of relevant compliance controls
  • Support development of compliance monitoring programme
  • Evaluate applicable training requirements

The successful candidate will benefit from having: 

  • Proven experience in advising and/or monitoring of asset management business
  • Strong background in and understanding of investment management products and services with in depth understanding of securities, cash and derivatives market instruments
  • Working knowledge of ASIC regulations
  • Prior experience in the interpretation and analysis of regulatory obligations and industry standards
  • Analytical ability to identify and understand problems and provide effective solutions
  • Highly motivated individual who has a proven record of using initiative to resolve problems

They are seeking a sharp, well-spoken recent graduates ideally with a minimum of one year’s experience within financial services operations or client services, to join their operations division on an initial 12-month contract with the view to go permanent at 12 months.

  • The team in operations is responsible for supporting client onboarding, asset transfer processing, CHESS Sponsorship
  • Managing asset transfer function to facilitate transfer of domestic and international equities
  • Support and monitor both local and overseas teams relating to the asset transfer, client onboarding and ongoing maintenance of client accounts and data integrity.
  • Ensuring all daily processes and SLAs are met within applicable timeframes
  • Monitoring report to unlock HIN as per regulatory requirements.
  • Managing escalations by front office and work with offshore team to resolve them.

Our client is a leading global wealth manager seeking a junior Business Analyst to join their Change Management team.

This role is for a Junior Business Analyst role who will be assisting the Change Manager in executing change projects for Operations.

The main responsibilities is to work closely with users to detail business requirements, analyses user requirements and to gain user acceptance of the changes.

Candidates must have 1-2 years working experience in a wealth management / equity operations environment with some project or change management exposure.

Candidates with Business Analysis skills is preferred.

Our client is an global wealth management business looking for a Client Onboarding Analyst to join their team in Sydney on an initial 12 Month contract.

This role will work closely with the business’ key stakeholders to facilitate a smooth and efficient client on-boarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

– Facilitate screening requirements and assess customers, to identify possible Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Tax Evasion and other risks.

– Implement AML/KYC standards and policies and be key contact for related queries and initiatives.

– Process new account documentation and ensure that the account opening process satisfies the client’s needs with exceptional service.

Key Skills:

– Minimum 2-3 years in Australian and global securities markets with on-boarding and client service background.
