


Our client is an ASX-listed Fintech company based in Sydney providing integrated digital management platforms, compliance automation, and IPO allocation automation to stockbrokers and wealth management firms.
Due to their recent growth & expansion, they are looking for 2 junior to mid-level Business Development Managers to assist in growing revenues across their product line, engaging clients through outbound sales calls & face to face meetings, and demonstrating the value of their products to C-level Decision Makers. Your role will be focused on assisting the Head of Sales & MD to close sales & retain clients.
Ideal profiles will be sharp, confident, and passionate candidates yielding 2-4 years of experience in sales, BDM, or account management within the financial services or tech industries.
Key Duties
- Proactively engage prospects to understand their business needs & sell client solutions
- Understand the Financial Advice, Capital Raising or Trading process & the ability to communicate where their products fit in
- Provide a meaningful & professional client experience
- Find & nurture new leads within their target market
- Identify & qualify for new opportunities
- Liaison with the broader business
- Adhere to successful & consistent management of CRM
- Deliver product demonstrations & onboarding of new users and clients via phone call, zoom meeting or in person.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who:
- Has circa 2+ years of experience as a Business Development Manager / Sales – preferably in Technology or Finance Sectors
- Has a track record of successful sales in a B2B Technology or Financial Services
- Has the willingness to learn & is comfortable in making outbound cold calls
- Takes the initiative to learn & understand new products & communicate these to new & existing clients
- Has effective communication & interpersonal skills
- Has previous trading experience or come from a Brokerage background
- Is comfortable working in a small growing team
The role will pay a base salary plus there will be a generous commission structure in place – Likely first year OTE, will be around $100-110k.
