Our client is a large, diverse financial services firm seeking an Office Facilities Manager to join their Sydney office, responsible for the coordination of facilities tasks and services.

This role will be hired on an initial 9-month contract. 

Scope of Work:

Our client is seeking candidates to join their Facilities Team. The successful candidate would be one that can ensure a save working environment at all times in accordance with local standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality and timely service delivery to the Customer, overall quality assurance and Customer’s high level of satisfaction.
  • Manage vendor relationships, vendor services and vendor contracts
  • Manage and report Vendor Performance 
  • Manage property and tenancy related issues 
  • Assist with financial and administrative requirements
  • Take an active role in initiatives and management
  • Inspect facilities on a daily basis, and conduct major facility audits on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring office area is tidy and taking note of maintenance and OH&S issues or other problem areas
  • Keep and maintain records of inspections, maintenance reports, certificates and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in Minor Churn, Moves and assist in the coordination of Capital exp. Projects.
  • To be on-call after office hours for emergency needs where required

Required Skills/Experience:

  • At least 2 years facilities management experience.
  • Good understanding of financial management and controls.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken with the ability to communicate at all levels and build effective and professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and can work autonomously, as well as in a team environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills with professional attitude.
  • Demonstrates organizational abilities by effectively handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and setting priorities.
  • Logical and analytical thought processes and good problem solving skills.
  • Good working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Experience and basic working skills with Microsoft packages – particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.

This position will pay a high hourly rate dependent on prior experience. Successful candidates will be employed as an on-site contractor via Anton Murray Consulting on-site with our client.
