Female Asian Billionaires On The Rise

Forging ahead and outpacing their male counterparts, Asian female billionaires are on the rise.

According to a UBS-PwC report on “The changing faces of billionaires,” the last 15 years saw women billionaires globally increase by a factor of 6.6, from 22 in 1995 to 145 in 2014. In comparison, while there are currently a lot more male billionaires (1,202) than females, their rate growth in the last 15 years was slower at a factor of 5.2.
