Macquarie appoints credit head from Blackstone

Macquarie Asset Management has appointed Linso Pals as senior managing director and head of credit within its client solutions group. Based in London, Pals will lead global capital raising across Macquarie’s credit and insurance platform. His role will focus on product development and distribution across the firm’s private and liquid credit strategies.

Pals has more than 25 years of experience in asset management and a track record of working with pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds and other investors. He joins from Blackstone, where he led the European institutional sales effort for its credit and insurance business. Before that, he spent more than a decade at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, most recently as head of institutional sales for EMEA ex-UK.
